Spartans Summer Softball Camp

We're pleased to announce the dates for our 9th Annual Spartans Softball Camp! The camp will run from June 30 - July 4 and July 7 - July 11 (we will have camp on July 4th). Camp will go from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Monday - Friday rain or shine and is open to all girls ages 5 - 16. Last year's camp was a complete sellout and we expect this summer to sell out even faster than last year! We are also offering an advanced baseball / softball camp in Nanuet NY which will take place July 14 - 17 and July 21 - July 24 at Lake Nanuet NY. Click for details

We have an outstanding staff of College and High School Coaches as well as present and former college players on hand to instruct at the camp. The camp is led by Jackie Russo. Jackie is the current pitching coach at Nanuet High School and has been with us for 8 years! She's one of the brightest young coaches in the area. We' will also have guest instructors Shannon Massey and Robin Payne - both are considered among the top pitching instructors in NY & NJ. We're also please to have Lonnie Smith at camp again. Coach Smith has extensive softball coaching experience. He is the current Head Coach at Lakewood HS and is the former Head Coach at Nyack College! We are celebrating our 16th Anniversary in June and we've sold out each of our camps the past 15 years. Last year's softball camp was a sellout as well and we expect to sell out even sooner this year.

Windmill Pitching Clinic

We also offer a 1/2 Day Specialty Windmill Pitching Camp for those who just want to learn to windmill pitch. This camp is open to beginner as well as advanced players. Please note that full day campers will also work on windmill pitching if they want, but the 1/2 day pitching program runs from 12 - 3 PM and is for those who just want to work on pitching.

We are limiting the enrollment to no more than 55 girls!

In addition to our staff being outstanding college and high school coaches, each is a certified school teacher with advanced degrees in education. Our coaches are also CPR and First Aid Certified.

Girls are divided into separate age groups. Each age group has their own field to practice and play on. Each group is headed by an adult. We have classrooms available for each age group and each classroom has cable television and VCR's for video instruction. We have the option of eating lunch at the fields or in classrooms depending on the weather.

Camp will be held at Holy Family School in Norwood, NJ (June 30 - July 11) and Nanuet NY (July 14 - July 17 and July 21 - July 24). Holy Family is located in North East Bergen County, NJ. Holy Family is located just minutes away from the GW Bridge and the Tappan Zee Bridge. Nanuet is located off Exit 8 on the Palisades Pkwy, 12 minutes from Holy Family. Directions will be sent to all those who enroll. At Holy Family, we have total access to the school including classrooms and an indoor gymnasium for inclement weather. With the opening of our Spartans Sports Academy, we have access to air conditioned indoor batting cages. We will be using 6 beautifully manicured outdoor fields with plenty of shade! We will have indoor and outdoor batting cages this year!

Our camp runs for a full day Monday - Friday (9:00 AM - 3:00 PM) rain or shine as we have indoor facilities in case of inclement weather. Most summer day camps run on a Monday - Thursday schedule with Friday as the makeup day in case of rain. The Advanced Softball Camp in Nanuet runs Monday - Thursday from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.

Multi-Camp Discount: $245 (For each additional week no matter what sport you choose)

Windmill Pitching Clinic: $175 12 pm - 3 pm

Sibling Discount: $25 off for each child. (Not available for 1/2 day camps)

Advanced Softball Camp @ Nanuet: $230 each additional week is $210

Even though we've got 2 air-conditioned facilities to keep cool, sometimes you just need a little more....That's when our Pitch Burst Game comes out. When it gets really hot, we keep you really cool. Much safer than a traditional dunk tank, but just as fun and just as wet. Kids had a great time with this last year!
